St. Rita’s Church needed a roof that looked as glorious as the structure it protects. Because the roof is an integral and highly visible part of this church’s design, aesthetics and architectural adaptability were every bit as important as protection from the elements. The exceptional PermaSeal Roofing System was the perfect solution for this exceptional building.
The contemporary church structure has an impressive, eight-point, swept-wing design. Four of the main roof points slope down to the first story level. In addition to the main structure, there are three vestibules with half-barrel roofs. And the four-inch concrete roof deck required a roofing system that could be attached in a variety of ways.
PermaSeal’s flexible membrane conformed easily to all the church’s roof surfaces, whether flat or curved. The white thermoplastic reflects UV rays, preventing harmful “heat islands” and lowering the building’s climate control costs—and it looks lovely, too. The minimal maintenance requirements are also a plus for this large, sweeping roof expanse.
When your roof is on display for the whole world to see, as a key part of your building’s design, PermaSeal provides a lifetime of both good looks and superior protection. For St. Rita’s, it was a heavenly solution!
